Plantar Generation 1

Another kaiju from the Eraverse.

Plantar used to be a rare one of a kind carnivorous plant that toured with a carnival. The carnival was abandoned during the nuclear holocaust leaving Plantar alone.... Being exposed to the radiation caused him to mutate into a titanic creature which wrapped around much of the carnival machinery and much of the carnival itself. Plantar, even as a ordinary plant never liked to be alone. Plantar befriended a wolf who had also been with the carnival, being his only friend.

So when Era came across the abandoned carnival Plantar was delighted to finally see another living creature. As Era passed through the carnival of rust and vine, Plantar tried playfully to get Era to stay and play with him, but Era had other places to be so he kept slicing vine after vine that Plantar put in his way, so Plantar playfully shoved Era back, but it was to rough and it sent Era backward! Era had landed on the wolf, killing it. This enraged the now lonely flora! Plantar forced Era into the remains of the decrepit roller coaster for a one on one dual. Closing off the entrance with many vines, Plantar scratched Era with his main tendrils, and absorbing the sun rays only to send them out as a concentrated beam against Era.

But the tyrannosaur sliced the tendrils clean off the plant, and the sky grew dark cutting off the plant from the sun and thus it's energy beam, so Plantar tried to devour Era,. Era catching the plants jaws held them open staring at the large eye at the back of it's throat. Era charged his beam and blew straight through the flora's "skull", causing the eye to burst violently and the petals to fly back and burn. Era, having won the battle, left the carnival to continue his quest for EVO. But the trajic story of the plant would not end here..... for under it's charred roots..... was a seed...

Powers

The "eyes" on it's head are actually specially adapted areas of chlorophyll, that cahnnel the sun's rays into energy it can then fire out it's true eye in it's throat.

Plantar's true eye in it's throat can flip to the top of it's throat so it can still swallow when it wants to.
